Lagos — The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has increased the gantry price of its Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petrol, by N101, from N774 to N875 per litre.

With this development, there are concerns over fresh fuel price increases nationwide.

A senior refinery official, who confirmed the development on Monday, said the price increase was a result of the recent volatility in global crude oil markets.

He said: “The price has been reviewed. The new gantry price is now N875 per litre from N774. The review became necessary due to changes in global crude fundamentals and replacement costs.”

Prior to the price hike, the refinery had suspended petrol loading operations effective midnight on March 2, 2026.
