Alpha Automation Specialist – Houston, TX

Summary

The Alpha Automation Specialist is responsible for learning and leveraging the capabilities of the Alpha Remote Operations Team, while continuously improving and working towards the role, responsibility, and title of an Alpha SME.

Responsibilities

• Building and reporting on all Alpha offerings.
• Utilizing Power BI data, and Clarity to identify areas of improvement that are seen in the field.
• Daily diagnostic reporting and identifying common reasonings for issues.
• Generate ideas on how to further broaden the system application for higher value creation.
• Communicate with rigs to suggest parameter adjustments, increasing efficiency
• Report to Manager, Remote Operations all status tracking updates

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil and gas and at least 2 years of experience with land-based drilling rigs.

Working knowledge of drilling rig components and drilling rig activities.
