The Opportunity:

The Finance Application Analyst will provide Maximo application support as it applies to both system solutions and business process needs. The Maximo Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) system is a portfolio of 100+ applications that you will have a direct role in stewarding. You will be working on a fast-paced team made up of business support, change management, security, training, and software development professionals.

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Receive, research, resolve and report all Maximo application issues related to financial transactions between Maximo, Enterprise1, OpenInvoice and other financial systems
  • Collaborate with Operations Business Support analysts to troubleshoot and resolve Finance issues
  • Maintain and validate Process Diagrams & Functional Specifications for Finance related changes and new functions/features
  • Stay current on all work management and supply management processes and business rules
  • Participate in thorough testing of all operational changes/new functions and features; regression testing of Finance impacted processes
  • Escalate issues of significance that put the business at significant risk while proposing potential solutions

  • Job location: Calgary, Alberta
  • Shift schedule: 5×2 – Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting background or certification
  • Proven experience with Enterprise Applications (E1, SAP, Maximo) and procure to pay/invoicing applications (OpenInvoice, SAP Concur, or similar)
  • Database and SQL knowledge
  • Excellent documentation skills; effective communication skills, able to articulate issues/changes with business users and leadership
