HYBRID ELIGIBILITY
This position works a hybrid schedule, spending time remotely and in the office in New York City, NY. The current hybrid schedule provides flexibility to collaborate in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays and work from home Mondays and Fridays. With our 9/80 feature you get time off every other Friday when you work at least 80 hours over the preceding nine days.
Position Summary
Corporate Treasury is responsible for managing the Company’s global liquidity requirements, securing financing, managing relationships with lenders and rating agencies, corporate insurance, pension plan oversight, working capital, and cash management.
Within Corporate Treasury, the Treasury Operations team manages the Company’s global cash position, including letters of credit, investments, banking services, and systems. The Treasury Operations group also manages working capital, cash forecasting, and optimizing solutions for global banking needs.
The Treasury Analyst will primarily support Treasury Operations on these activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform daily cash positioning, cash forecasting, and reporting functions.
- Update senior management on current cash positions and cash forecasting.
- Maintain processing flexibility for quickly shifting business conditions or sudden deadlines.
- Prepare analysis and execute transaction processing for various Midstream legal agreements: Lower Tier Partnership, Unitholder, and Cash Pooling distributions.
- Maintain/create Standard Operating Procedures as needed to support operational processes
- Assist with SOX, internal and external audits, and other compliance requirements.
- Prepare analysis and presentations for meetings with senior management
- Work with peers across various other functions, including business units, Tax, Accounting, and Legal, to support broad corporate and Treasury-specific initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamlined reporting
- Assist in various other ad hoc projects
Hess is interested in developing well-rounded Treasury professionals, and longer term, there is potential for opportunities within the broader Treasury department.
Backup Responsibilities
Successfully learn to be able to fully and sufficiently backup and support the team on the following functions:
- Hess Corp cash position, cash forecast
- Payment execution
- Assist with the management of the Intercompany Loan portfolio
- Assist with the management of the Letters of Credit portfolio
- Funding and Investments Desk coverage

Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate business degree required
- 1-3 years of Treasury, banking, or corporate finance experience
