Area Sales Manager


We are currently searching for an experienced individual to join our engineering services client as an Area Sales Manager for their APAC region.

This is a staff position based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales plan to achieve sales objectives and targets.
Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans to maximize opportunities within Asian region.
Actively develop sales strategy and drive sales pursuit with internal /external stakeholders.
Develop customer relationship and build customer loyalty.
Develop and nurture sales channels of target market.
Collect, analyze market intelligence on competitions, industry trend, new technology, key customers, with the aim to implement strategy/tactics to continually enhance the company competitive advantage.
Drive sales activities through promotion of solutions business.
Provide periodical sales reports.
Prepare technical and commercial quotations.


Minimum 10 years of Marine and/or Offshore sales experience.
Solid sales professional with demonstrated complex sales experience across Asia and China.
Experience in Marine Market with a solid customer network data base is a MUST.

Experience in land based and power stations with regards to capital and services sales and also securing service agreements .
Strong Network of Clients within the Marine and Offshore Industry.
Experience in the Oil & Gas, Offshore (FPSO, FSRU & FLNG) segment will be an advantage
Land based power station project sales in SEA and China is an advantage.
Works closely with client’s marine superintendents to secure orders and ensure executed to expectations.
Strong Boiler Services Sales knowledge and experience mainly in China, Japan and SEA.
Technical knowledge of steam power generation, Oil and Gas processes, production and operation management, automation and control will be an advantage.
Demonstrated strong ability to interface and collaborate with customers.
Strong reasoning ability, high level of energy, strong initiative, reliability, perseverance and stability.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Strong command of English and Chinese (Advantage).
