The Senior Reliability Engineer’s role is to enhance the execution of quality Engineering Services and Training with a focus on continuous improvement of ARMS approach, procedures, and use of technology in providing the best possible solutions, or recommendations to ARMS’ clients. It is also the responsibility of the Principal Reliability Engineer to develop strong networks across the industry to keep abreast of emerging technologies and tools. Identifies ways in which the strategic positioning or capability of ARMS within Baker Hughes Industrial Solutions is proactively improved to be the leading provider of reliability solutions globally.
As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Enhancing the execution of quality Engineering Services and Training with a focus on continuous improvement of ARMS approach, procedures and use of technology in providing the best possible solutions, or recommendations to ARMS’ clients. It is also the responsibility of the Principal Reliability Engineer to develop strong networks across the industry to keep abreast of emerging technologies and tools.

Fuel your passion.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Have qualified Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years industry experience gained in a similar role in maintenance/reliability within the mining, processing, oil & gas, utilities, or manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of reliability engineering solutions.
- Expertise in interfacing reliability requirements to other systems
- Experienced in presenting to various groups relating to subject matter expertise in a
professional and training capacity
- Demonstrated experience in the sales cycle, specifically sales closing skills.
- Broad experience gained in the field of asset management and experienced solving complex level business problems
- Experienced in managing all project elements including timelines and budgets.
- Experienced in managing and coaching a team of engineers to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience performing Reliability Data analysis and model building.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and the collection of failure data.
Delivering Engineering Services
- Have Contribute subject matter expertise to Reliability Studies with a focus on solving complex problems where solutions are not readily available through typical data analysis, modelling, and software.
- Have Assume responsibility for the integrity of technical solutions
- Have Set project budgets & forecasts
- Have Estimate project steps and resources
- Have Forecast project FY performance and project completion versus budget
- Have Liaise with client’s to ensure timely communications, regular project status, proactive issue handling
Training
- Train others in Reliability methods and ASM primarily at conferences/workshops/ and industry bodies.
- Conduct Training in Apollo Root Cause Analysis, Incident Investigations, conduct audits, lead investigations.
