Job Requirements

As an AMO Technician -Mechanic you will Test, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment. Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

As an AMO Technician -Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

•      Performing maintenance and repairs of ESP equipment in accordance with operating specifications.

•      Troubleshooting, maintaining refurbishing equipment routinely

•      Conducting mechanical inspections.

•      Using moderately complex diagnostic equipment.

•      Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.

•      Configuring test stations and systems.

•      Facilitating third-party repair of equipment when required.

•      Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests and trouble shoot equipment problems.

•      Maintaining records. Scheduling maintenance of equipment Maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.

•      Performing Inspection and disposition of parts and equipment.

•       Ensuring compliance with HSE&Q policies and procedures. 

Work Experience

•      Have Highschool Diploma, College Degree or Engineering Degree is an advantage.

•      Have previous experience in a mechanical workshop environment

•       Hydraulic Engine and pump experience preferred. 

•      Be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.

•      Have knowledge on hydraulic and electrical circuits and ability to troubleshoot faults.

•      Basic measurement instrument and handtools knowledge

•      Have advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.

•      Have advanced computer skills.
