We are currently seeking experienced reliability / asset management professionals to join our global, highly skilled team at the UK’s largest integrated refinery and petrochemicals plant. We are looking for highly capable engineers to bring fresh perspectives, whilst working within our operational frameworks. This role is all about delivering operational availability at the lowest lifecycle cost.

 

If successful, you will provide Asset Management / Reliability Leadership for our existing facilities and new projects, with a view to developing and growing into wider leadership positions within the Fawley organization and beyond.

What role would you play within our team

 

The key responsibilities include:

 

  • Improving Medium to Long term reliability of our operating assets
  • Lead team’s reliability improvement program
  • Oversight of all equipment vulnerabilities, ensuring appropriate mitigating tasks in place
  • Ensures good quality strategies for all equipment, and that these strategies are translated into efficient plans using an effective Long Range Planning process, including the Annual Maintenance Plan. 
  • Coach and conscience of the team; ensure all members play their role in the delivery of reliable performance.
  • Field verification to ensure team effectiveness.
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with partner departments (Engineering and Maintenance) to ensure a strong team working ethic focused on effective and competitive delivery.
     

Who are we looking for.

 

To be eligible for this role, you should: 

 

  • Hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent (2.1 or above)
  • Be able to demonstrate a detailed working knowledge of
  1. High Hazard Industry 
  2. Operations management and systems
  3. The main business drivers associated with operating and maintaining process units within a petrochemicals site. 
  • Have experience in root cause failure analyses, process safety and risk assessment
  • Be able to showcase a track record of proactive problem solving skills in an operating environment 

The successful candidate will be looking to join a world class petrochemical multi-national and will possess a broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership skills in order to progress in a professional, leadership based engineering career that could ultimately lead to your appointment into global senior leadership positions.
