A renewable energy client is seeking motivated professionals—ranging from early?career talent to experienced hires—to join its Philippines team as Business Development Associate / Manager.
This role requires hands-on involvement in developing renewable energy projects, from origination to early-stage structuring.

Job Purpose

The position supports the full cycle of renewable energy business development in the Philippines, including opportunity evaluation, stakeholder engagement, permitting, and preparation for project execution.
The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable operating in the field as well as in a fast-paced business environment.

Responsibilities

Assignments include, but are not limited to:

• Identify and evaluate new renewable energy business opportunities
• Conduct market research, regulatory analysis, and feasibility assessments
• Perform hands-on stakeholder engagement with LGUs, landowners, national agencies, and local partners
• Support land acquisition, permitting workflows, and coordination with legal/technical advisors
• Assist (or lead, depending on seniority) project structuring and early-stage financial modeling
• Prepare proposals, reports, project documentation, and internal presentations
• Participate in site visits, due diligence, and negotiations
• Manage internal coordination across cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications?Must?

• 3–5 years of professional experience for Associate level
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, consulting, or related fields
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Highly proactive, adaptable, and capable of hands-on field engagement

Preferred Qualifications?Plus?

• Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure project development
• Understanding of Philippine permitting and regulatory processes
• Experience engaging LGUs, DENR, DOE, BOI, partners, suppliers, contractors, banks, or relevant stakeholders
• Financial modeling or contract management experience
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Earth, QGIS, MS Project, MS Office
