The Chemical Intermediates Sales Representatives manages customers in their territory driving growth at known customers with existing and new products as well as prospecting for new customers, leveraging a broadened product portfolio that is focused on surfactant applications. The Sales Representative identifies and understands customer needs, product performance and market trends to drive growth, primarily in support of Surfactant Intermediates product growth plans, which include LAO as well as synthetic alcohols.
Job Role Responsibilities
• Mangages the customer relationship • Represents the customer within the EM organization; the customer’s advocate • Responsible for delivering planned volume at or above target margins • Builds and manages the opportunity pipeline to delivers planned growth • Provides market intelligence that guides tactical and strategic decision making • Fully supports product and market development plans, serving as the point contact at the customer for those activities
