Job Summary

 

Plant Inspectors will plan, conduct, and document examinations of pressure equipment, vessels, and piping for the purpose of maintaining mechanical integrity and operating reliability. This is a day position, subject to future changes based on business needs. This position is located in Baton Rouge, LA.

Primary Job Functions

 

•    Provides technical support for the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of the plant’s fixed equipment.
•    Analyzes data and recommends actions to enhance equipment reliability. 
•    Develops Risk Based Inspection plans for the plant’s fixed equipment. 
•    Provides technical support for projects, and reviews management of change packages. 
•    Provides technical support for unit turnarounds as well as maintenance activities.

 

Job Requirements

 

•    Candidates must be certified to a minimum of one API certification (API 510, 570, or 653) with working knowledge of NDE methods, engineering drawings, corrosion mechanisms and monitoring. Prior relevant Unit Inspector experience in a manufacturing environment.
