What you will do


  • Provide support to various business units to help solve manufacturing / production through analytical techniques / relevant test methods / investigation methodologies
  • Provide advice on types of analytical techniques / test methods to use for adhoc sample testing requests, new initiative quality evaluations, etc
  • Knowledge of quality assurance systems & tools (e.g. SQC) to help with troubleshooting of product quality issues (e.g. testing, reporting, etc)
  • Ensure data integrity in test result reporting and quality system compliance
  • Interface with various manufacturing business units, departments and functions on sample testing  requirements 
  • Implement and maintain best practices for chemical analysis and develop new test and troubleshooting methods  
  • Participate in the continuous improvements of the laboratory quality management system 
  • Evaluate new analytical equipment for purchase and follow through on the capital expense process 
  • Train shift teams on use of the new analytical equipment
  • Review and update product specifications for product release implementation in LIMS, including process monitoring specifications
  • Implement and participate in quality systems audits (e.g. ISO 17025, ISO 9001)
  • Troubleshoot or implement corrective/preventive actions arising from investigations and audits


What you will need


  • A chemistry or chemical engineering degree 
  • A good analytical abilites.
  • Strong ability to influence without authority
  • Good team player with effective problem solving and communication skills
  • Fresh graduates with excellent GPA scores or chemists with experience in the following industries are encouraged to apply:
