Job Description:

Our client, a leading commercial air conditioning service provider operating in a world-class island environment, is seeking a skilled Chiller Technician to join their team. The company delivers high-quality, end-to-end HVAC solutions across multiple industries, including hospitals, airports, government institutions, and large commercial facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex commercial chiller systems, ensuring optimal performance within large-scale and mission-critical environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial chiller systems.
  • Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting across air-cooled and water-cooled systems.
  • Maintain and optimize large central plant equipment and HVAC infrastructure.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards.
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve system efficiency.
  • Work on a range of chiller types including screw, centrifugal, scroll, and modular systems.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of HVAC systems where required.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, timely service to clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and system performance.
  • Uphold company standards of professionalism, quality, and customer service.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with commercial chiller/HVAC systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers and central plant systems.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
  • Experience working with major OEM equipment such as JCI, Trane, Carrier, LG, or Mitsubishi is advantageous.
  • Exposure to centrifugal chillers will be beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Relevant trade certification in HVAC or refrigeration preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to relocate internationally.
  • Clean criminal record.
