Airswift is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Civil Inspector to oversee the quality and compliance of civil work on large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects.
The position is to work in Comanche County, TX for an initial 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with HSE and project quality standards
- Implement and maintain the quality plan, resolving deficiencies
- Perform civil QA/QC inspections using Vyn and verify contractor deliverables
- Manage nonconformities and corrective/preventive actions
- Monitor contractor work to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specs
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
- Conduct site inspections and support third-party quality reviews
- Maintain project documentation and QC records
- Participate in quality meetings and provide civil technical support
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in solar (PV) QA/QC; 5+ years in construction QA/QC
- Strong knowledge of civil work, SWPPP, and applicable codes/standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tools
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Allowed to work in the US
