Overview

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the enterprise architecture for Aramco Upstream. This includes the development of a strategic roadmap of Upstream Digital, the alignment of Upstream Digital activities with business goals, and the ensuring of the quality and scalability of Upstream Digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

•  Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework

•  Define the business requirements for Upstream Digital technologies

•  Design and implement Upstream Digital solutions that meet business requirements

•  Lead the implementation of emerging technologies projects

•  Manage the Upstream Digital technologies budget

•  Ensure the security and compliance of Upstream Digital systems

•  Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enterprise Architecture Certification from TOGAF or equivalent certifications
  • Experience with oil and gas industry-specific technologies, such as seismic data analysis, reservoir modeling, and pipeline simulation
  • Experience with cloud computing and big data technologies
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Masters) in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
