Play a pivotal role in our business
As a Commercial Application Engineer, you will prepare proposals/bids aligned with technical requirements and specifications, contract negotiation, compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.
As a Commercial Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Developing proposals; negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation
Handling standardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice
Contributing to prices and conditions to have a degree of granularity. Works on the basis of predefined contracts price frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from prices and conditions
Handling diverse clients in a region
Handling special projects as required

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor’s from an accredited institution or relevant qualifications in industrial, energy, structural engineering areas
Have proven sales experience
Have proven proposals experience
Have an understanding of Condition Monitoring technology (electronic/measuring equipment)
Be fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK
Being proficient in German/Dutch/Norwegian is highly desirable
Have excellent oral and written communication skill
Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skill
Have the ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Have effective problem identification and solution skill
Have proven analytical and organizational ability
