Key Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Commissioning Piping Leader in supervising EPC Contractor’s PVV commissioning activities.
• Report directly to the Commissioning Discipline Leader.
• Witness, verify, and approve PVV pre-commissioning and commissioning tasks, including system completions and punch list closures.
• Supervise all PVV-related pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for assigned subsystems.
• Coordinate technicians, tools, equipment, and interdepartmental resources required for commissioning activities.
• Expedite documentation including handover dossiers, system readiness reports, and red-line markups.
• Participate in walkdowns during system transitions:
  • Construction to Commissioning
  • Commissioning to Operations
• Categorize and track punch list items and ensure timely closure.
• Support and monitor vendor activities related to commissioning scope.
• Ensure commissioning is conducted in accordance with project procedures, OPERCOM® methodology, and aligned with ICAPS© tracking.
• Ensure PVV dossiers are complete and accurate prior to handover to Operations.
• Compile and submit system handover documentation.
• Maintain proactive engagement with all stakeholders and anticipate potential delays or conflicts.

Commissioning Activities

• Coordination with other project entities, disciplines, and existing facilities.
• Ensure availability, readiness, and maintenance of PVV commissioning tools.
• Supervise ICAPS population and progress tracking.
• Oversee:
  • Hydrotesting and piping alignment
  • Leak test preparation and execution
  • Vessel readiness and handover
• Monitor EPC and vendor commissioning scope, including:
  • SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)
  • OTPs (Operational Test Procedures)
  • Document updates
  • Punch list management and closure
• Ensure accurate reporting of commissioning progress and punch list execution.
• Verify red-line markups and final documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent in Engineering or a related Science discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years in the oil & gas industry (onshore and offshore).
• Minimum 3 years in a Commissioning Supervisor role focused on PVV systems.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of PVV systems and commissioning methodologies.
• Proficient in OPERCOM® methodology and ICAPS© software.
• Familiar with Total General Specifications (TGS), MANASA, PRODOM, and other relevant codes and standards.

Certifications

• Valid T-BOSIET
• Valid H2S OPITO

Languages

• Fluent in English (mandatory).
• Knowledge of the local EPC language is preferred depending on EPC location (e.g., Mandarin for WHP/CPP, Korean for CPP).
