Community Engagement Coordinator
 
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator.
This role will be responsible for representing company through a variety of communication and community related activities, forums, and events.

Key Accountabilities:
– Implement and update the Stakeholder Engagement Plans (SEPs) for the Norway projects.
– Directly engage with local, regional and national stakeholders, and support on discussions with government authorities.
– Support Company project teams on project related communication and community engagement.
– Document and record stakeholder engagement activities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 SRM (stakeholder relationship management) System (SRM).
– Work closely with the European Communications Team to provide communications support to the Norwegian team, such as developing information sheets in Norwegian and English.
– Represent the Company at community events and on key committees.
– Manage the Company’s Norway email inbox and respond to stakeholder queries.
– Manage community grievances and record in SRM.
– Support with social field surveys and data collection.
– Support with the management of social risk, obligations and commitments.
– Provide input into the scoping of social baselines, socioeconomic analysis, and social impact assessments.
– Investigate and implement community investment initiatives.
– Provide support with the corporate soft funding strategy and other initiatives (Enova, Research Council, EU and others.)
– Support the European Funding Manager with community grants, sponsorship and other such activities.
– Support wider European team objectives.

Qualifications:
– Educated to degree level.
– Experience in Stakeholder Engagement, Communications, and/or Community Development.
– Experience in Social Performance, such as Social Impact Assessments, is desirable.
– High level professional communication skills, including written and verbal communication in Norwegian and English.
– Outstanding interpersonal skills – ability to interact with a diverse range of people in a professional manner, representing the company.
– Proficient in data management and reporting.
– Demonstrated ability to operate in dynamic delivery environments.
– Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
– Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite, predominately in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
