Job Summary:
The Condition Monitoring Officer is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and assessing the condition of rotating and static equipment, facilities, and public area assets within the RA (Residential Area) to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance. The role supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs through data collection, analysis, and reporting on asset health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and monitoring of equipment and public area utilities (e.g., pumps, HVAC systems, lighting, water systems, and generators).
- Collect and analyze data using vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and other condition monitoring tools.
- Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of asset condition, inspection results, and maintenance recommendations.
- Support the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and environmental policies.
- Liaise with maintenance, operations, and HSE teams to coordinate required interventions.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability and performance
Job Requirement
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering (or related field).
- 5 years’ experience in condition monitoring or maintenance within the oil and gas or energy sector.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance tools (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasonic testing).
- Familiarity with CMMS or reliability-based maintenance systems.
- Certification in Condition Monitoring or Reliability Engineering is an added advantage.
