What you’ll do:
Santos Foundation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contracts Administration Officer (CAO) to support our Field Operations, Support Functions, and Program teams. Based in Port Moresby this role is critical in ensuring efficient contract management and administrative support across all Foundation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the contracts tracker, ensuring timely contract renewals and closeouts.
- Provide weekly status reports of contract to the Contracts Lead and Corporate Services Senior Manager.
- Monitor contract compliance and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure transparency and maintain a clear audit trail for all contract activities.
- Support effective communication and relationships with Santos Foundation partners.
- Collaborate with Program Managers on contract-related matters.
- Assist with procurement processes including purchase requisitions and receipting.
- Perform general administrative duties as directed.
- Ensure compliance with Santos Management System (SMS), Delegation of Authority (DOA), and Corporate Governance and Safety standards.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a commercial or similar environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Ideally, you will be a Degree or Diploma holder in Business Management, Administration, or a related field or demonstrate significant training and experience within directly relevant role(s), within large corporate environments.
