Job Summary

• Design, layout and product maintenance of electronic assemblies and subcomponents in compliance with deadlines and budgeting as well as customer, OneSubsea and standards specifications
• Creation and maintenance of technical documents, such as re-quirement and functional specifications as well as circuit diagrams and test procedures
• Responsibility for the technical qualification of prototypes as well as the execution of design reviews
• Participation in and support of standardization projects
• Collaboration with internal and external international customers, suppliers and within OneSubsea in interdisciplinary teams
• Contact person for colleagues worldwide in case of questions and problems as well as support of assembly during production and in the aftermarket

Minimum Job Qualifications

• A degree (bachelor’s, master’s or diploma) in the field of electrical engineering
• Practical experience in the field of electrical engineering, e.g. through an apprenticeship as an electronics technician
• Initial knowledge of the design and application of national and international standards and regulations
• Experience with communication technology and electrical network forms (island networks, IT networks)
• Knowledge of reading and creating circuit diagrams and technical drawings using CAD programs
• Experience in working with ERP and MRP systems, ideally with SAP R3
• Openness to new technologies and products
• Ability to work in a team, decisiveness, and motivation to take on responsibility
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken 
• Willingness to travel occasionally (<10%)
