Job Overview 

Internships provide opportunities to learn and apply security and analysis principles through a combination of team and individual project assignments. Devon offers office internships that provide candidates with real-world experience in a rapidly growing industry. 

Major Responsibilities 

Interns apply general business principles, theories, and concepts to assignments such as, but not limited to: 

• Researching and analyzing large data sets 

• Building and implementing an efficient due diligence investigation program 

• Working in interdisciplinary teams to include (legal, accounting, audit) 

• Creating and communicating briefs for leadership on contractor due diligence investigations 

Other Learning Opportunities 

Interns will receive diversified learning opportunities through on-the-job assignments, utilizing the technical skills acquired in college.  This internship will assist in technical and professional development. Cross-training on other day-to-day assignments such as background/drug screens, international travel briefs, social media monitoring, and assistance in field/video/access control investigations will also be involved.

Qualifications 

• Full time student 

• Pursuing degree in Crime and Intelligence Analysis or security related field 

• Graduation Year: December 2024 – May 2026 

• Computer, social media and analytical skillset 

Conditions of Employment 

• Successfully complete a background check and drug screen 

• Must provide own transportation daily to work location 

• Completion of Federal Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9)
