Job description
Inspecting, greasing, and cleaning your crane to ensure it’s in top shape
Performing safety tests before use and keeping your cabin neat afterward
Carrying out basic maintenance and assisting during scheduled inspections
Lifting work baskets with care and according to safety protocols
Staying in close contact with your ground crew—clear communication is key
Making safety-conscious decisions for yourself and your colleagues
Pitching in on other tasks when lifting is not required, including maintenance jobs
Requirements
A valid TCVT W406 certificate (or an equivalent recognized qualification)
A VCA certificate, or the willingness to obtain one
Up-to-date knowledge of lifting regulations, lift plans, and safety standards
Proven experience as a crane operator (tower crane experience is essential)
A proactive, motivated attitude and interest in ship repair work
Your own means of transportation
