The Data Analysis Advisor, as part of the Global Operations & Sustainability organization will be responsible to provide Data and Analysis support on Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) activities. This position involves coordination with global site contacts to collect, organize, interpret and analyze data using various statistical tools to deliver meaningful information and insights to improve on safety performance. Day to Day responsibility would also include but not limited to monitor performance of MSP, liaise with business partners to ensure business continuity and needs are met.

Job Role Responsibilities


  • Provide Business Line Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) Data Analysis, Reporting and Stewardship and proactively review data across multiple sources for quality and completeness
  • Serve as Business Line(BL)’s SPOC and participate in BL work teams to stay connected with business needs & priorities
  • Collaborate effectively with Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) Business Line SPOC & leadership team to deliver insightful work products
  • Prioritizes and assists with Ad-hoc data requests and analysis to Management, Business Units, Safety, Security, Health & Environment (SSHE) advisors, etc.
  • Closely work with Managed Service Provider(MSP) analysts to oversee their performance and provide SME support
  • Technical support and troubleshooting to remediate any technical issues with tools, data feeds, and extracts 
  • Suggest new ideas to improve SSHE processes/systems/tools
  • Coordinates stewardship and KPI measurement across multiple levels of the organization and geographical regions
  • Review data in reports and across multiple sources for quality and completeness 

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree  in Engineering with minimum 6 CGPA or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics. 
  • Minimum 3 year work experience doing statistical analysis, computations and generating data insights
  • Exceptional English communication skills (Written and Oral)
  • Good business judgment and root cause analysis skills.
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond effectively with different individual across geographical regions, cultures and senior business leaders
  • Data query, extraction and entry experience in Information Technology (IT) applications
  • Expertise in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VBA (Visual Basic Analysis), complex formulas, integrating with other programs using data cubes (SSAS) or data connections.
  • Good to have experience on statistical computer languages like R, Python, MS-SQL (Structured Query Language), JMP tool to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Good to have experience on data visualization applications like Tableau, or Power BI
  • Capable of facilitating / coordinating teams and influencing individuals / organizations without formal authority
  • Experience coordinating with different teams or various layers in the organization
  • Experience working with international clients/customers virtually or face to face. 
  • Analytical mindset in being able to work with massive amount of data to easily translate value out of it.
  • Exhibits critical thinking & analytical capabilities (data processing, statistical analysis, benchmarking)
  • Strong initiative, change management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Willingness to work hours/shifts in alignment with customer needs
