- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent will be considered
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, MATLAB and other programming tools preferred
- Experience creating data visualizations preferred
- Participate in and manage multiple projects which will require interaction with vendors, division personnel and IS team
- Analytical skills in mathematics, statistics and machine learning
- Ability to understand and discover new insights in large structured and unstructured data sets
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong presentation, coordination and organizational skills
- Solutions oriented, goal driven analytical person who likes to work on teams and get things done. Should be self-starter.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Spotfire
- Experience with Hadoop and other big data tools
