The position
By joining our team in Renewables you will have the opportunity to:
- Be a leader in the Electrical System Infrastructure Product Line, leading and developing a team of experienced engineers and project leaders focusing on project deliveries within the Onshore Area, including onshore substations, for offshore wind and other renewables.
- Support local access (permitting) and contribute to permitting processes in our global portfolio.
- Build competitive project deliveries by driving value optimization and standardization.
- Interface with other product lines at strategic portfolio level, driving collaboration, synergies, and standardized ways of working. Capture learning and data across the project portfolio (both technical and commercial).
- Interface with local resources and resources owners to optimize and balance global vs local deliveries and follow-up within the Onshore Area.
- Deliver product scope as an integrated part of the project, incl technical product concept and recommended suppliers and ways of working.
- Contribute to the category strategy and supplier relations for the onshore segment.
- Delivery of the following scope of works for offshore wind projects; cable landfall, cable and/or overhead line from landfall to grid connection, onshore substation (buildings, groundwork, civil).

- Master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
- Technical experience and competence within the field of civil engineering and large onshore projects.
- Project development experience, preferably from offshore wind and renewable energy.
- The onshore scope in offshore wind projects is highly dependent on the local conditions – flexibility with regards to travel is required.
- Positive “let’s do it” attitude and enthusiasm.
- Creative thinking, with a strong commercial mindset.
- Able to deliver results through others – empower people.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Leadership experience is preferred, but not a requirement.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Norwegian desirable.
