Job Summary:
Developing and completing design projects in order to meet customer specific requirements or the needs of the oilfield industry in general, in accordance with Cameron Engineering standards and procedures and industry standards.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Analyse and develop Product designs in order to meet customer`s needs having an awareness of good economic design and safety, both in manufacture and function.
- Create drawings and BOM’s in conformity with customer specifications and Cameron standards, ensuring that all designs are done timely and accurately.
- Prepare design calculations to verify the products to meets the design requirements and standards.
- Participate to technical specifications and procedures preparing.
- Utilize the Cameron Engineering Standards for choosing the material specifications and initiate requests for modification of them, when is necessary.
- Gather documentary evidence regarding the general and special requirements of the products.
- Give assistance to the Sales & Marketing Department in identifying customer needs and confirming existing product part numbers. Participate in Design Review meetings and Technical Contract review.
- Participate to technical assistance during the manufacturing process, until the products are installed.
- Give technical advice for the internal and external customer at his level of responsibility.
- Participate to the activity of analysing and preparing documentation for quotations.
- Prepare documentation and upload in SAP program (PLM the engineering section).
- Prepare and provide formal and informal training when required.
- Submitting new proposal ideas for products.
- Participate in Kaizen events, Lean Six Sigma training sessions and submit suggestions for improvement related to its own workplace and events that may affect product quality.
- Utilize the Lean Six Sigma tools to help the improvement processes in support of business objectives.
- Participate in Value Engineering activities.
- Follow the 6S principles related to the workplace (sorting, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
Qualifications:
- No prerequisite experience required but demonstrable interest in engineering is highly desired.
- Fresh-out graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Romanian and English language – fluent.
