The position
By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:
- Join the Digital Improvement and IT Operational Excellence team driving the overall IT improvement agenda across the digital enterprise, balancing technical integrity, product performance, risk and cost to guide the improvement priorities.
- Supporting the full product lifecycle, driving transparency on technical and financial performance and translating this data into insights for future improvements, and covering three task areas: Digital Operations, Improvement and Modernisation and Application Portfolio Management.
- Digital operations will be responsible for defining and shaping digital operations that brings together, technologies, data, processes, platforms, and metrics to create transparency to drive standardisation, simplification, and performance across the IT portfolio.
- Responsible for developing and providing expertise, practices, standards and services for digital operations and insights to technology product managers for efficient product lifecycle management.
- Develop a direction for a digital high performing, automated operational ecosystem focused on driving efficiency, keeping the IT portfolio operating smoothly and delivering business value.
- Identify data driven insights, align with operational units, the IT discipline and business areas in setting set clear and measurable targets.
- Extract synergies from across IT operations and deliveries such as monitoring, surveillance, performance optimisation, capacity planning, IT security, automation, and tooling.
- Contribute to driving a continuous improvement mindset and collective culture that values innovation, efficiency, and continuous enhancement.
- Manage, engage with, and build trust with relevant stakeholders internally and externally to improve technology utilization and efficiency in our operations.
You

- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT.
- 10 years relevant experience from IT architecture, operations, software engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
- Ability to drive the strategic agenda and influence across the organisation.
- Strong communication skills with ability to create engagement and knowledge about Digital Operations throughout Equinor.
- A team collaborator and builder, working effectively with and leveraging the skills and perspectives from a diverse team.
- Curiousity towards the latest trends and technologies.
- Someone passionate about continuous improvement of what you do and how you do it.
