About Houston
ExxonMobil’s state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.
By bringing many global functional groups together, the campus provides employees with the tools and capabilities needed today, and in the future, to achieve business objectives and accelerate the discovery of new resources, technologies and products. It was designed to foster improved collaboration, creativity and innovation and enhance the company’s ability to attract, develop and retain the top talent in the industry.
The campus is located in Spring, Texas, on 385 wooded acres immediately to the west of Interstate Highway 45 (I-45), at the intersection of I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road, approximately 25 miles from the cultural vibrancy of downtown Houston.

What role you will play in our team
Key business development leader reporting into the SVP Commercial and Business Development. Responsible for growing a global team to evaluate low carbon business development opportunities, drive transaction economics, develop analytical insights to drive commercial terms, risk management and business initiatives.
What you will do
- Lead team of economic modelling analysts evaluating projects, risks and commercial terms and structures in our Low Carbon Solutions business
- Develop insightful, objective, independent, & accurate economic and risk analysis
- Ensure analysis needed is delivered to management on the timeline required to support decisions
- Maintain organizational compliance with company / corporate business, and governance processes and policies
- Promote best practice and tool development / application within Low Carbon Solutions on a global basis
- Identify industry approaches to grow Low Carbon Solutions analytics capabilities
- Collaborate across stakeholder groups to maximize team’s performance
- Ensure availability, and prioritization, of resources to meet ongoing and ad-hoc business needs and initiatives
- Recruit and develop staff for roles in group and Low Carbon Solutions more broadly
- Direct career development of organizational staff and performance assessment of direct reports.
- Promote leadership framework behaviors within own organization
About You
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Financial or Engineering field
- 10 years of working experience within analytics or project economic evaluation
- 4 years of working supervisory experience
- Detailed knowledge and experience of cashflow modelling in MS Excel
- Detailed knowledge of financial modelling concepts
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- Master’s Degree in financial field or MBA
- Prior experience working with a global team
- Energy Transition experience
