Our Client is a leading building services contractor undertaking a range of projects throughout Malta.  As part of a larger group of companies, the organisation offers an array of benefits to all employees including healthcare, insurances.

Due to continued project awards, the client seeks to supplement their team with a motivated and experienced Electrical Chargehand.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing teams of electrical installers
  • Coordinating the allocated workforce and supervising their day to day activities
  • Planning, organising and coordinating a range of electric installations
  • Troubleshooting any issues and guiding the team to resolve problems
  • Quality management, testing and certifying installations
  • Assisting with the development of work schedules to ensure projects are completed timely
  • Mentoring the team of installers to promote their continued professional development; assessing their performance regularly
  • Coordinating with storekeepers to ensure materials and equipment are available
  • Undertake inspections, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations and safety standards
  • Raise any concerns regarding materials, inaccessible sites, resources and health and safety to management

 

Talent will:

  • Possess relevant qualifications and preferable hold Electrical Licenses A & B
  • Demonstrate 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Be able to read and interpret electrical and technical diagrams
  • Have an excellent command of English with excellent communication skills
  • Be proactive, organised and able to work to defined deadlines
  • Have excellent leadership skills
