Job Title: Electrical/Instrumentation/Controls Planner
Location: Near Fort Saskatchewan, AB (Locals Preferred)
Rotation: Mon-Fri (40 hours per week) – during outages, candidate may be required to work during the weekend
Contract Length: 1-2 years
Start Date: September 1, 2022

Summary:

  • Generate plans and level 1-4 schedules for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning activities
  • Review schedules provided by supporting contractors and vendors
  • Coordinate schedules with operations and turnaround projects happening at the same time
  • Hold collaborative review sessions with key stakeholders
  • Present project plans to leadership and project teams
  • Track and report project progress and project milestones
  • Evaluate schedule performance metrics
  • Evaluate and report schedule risks
  • Evaluate the impact of project trends and scope changes
  • Contribute to project reporting requirements

  • Schedule progress and status reports
  • Change and trend evaluations

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in detailed Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation Planning, DCS / Control System Migration Experience, Electrical Commissioning Planning, Turnaround Planning
