DESCRIPTION:
As a Superintendent, reporting to The General Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
As a Superintendent, reporting to The General Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site
- Maintain project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy
- Oversight of multiple jobs & manpower for each job
- Develop and update the project schedule
- Prepare two-week look ahead schedules
- Update project schedules utilizing computerized scheduling software
- Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors
- Coordinate the work of the subcontractors’ field forces
- Communicate effectively with owners, designers and engineers
- Maintain accurate cost reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 8 (eight) years of commercial construction experience is required
- 2 or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor
- Experience managing others with a proven history of leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring successfully
- Experience with Conest and Accubid Software
- Experience with project management and scheduling software (ex: JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, Asta)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
