JOB SUMMARY

We are searching for a detail-oriented, dependable technician to join our Research and Development team. The technicians’ responsibilities include monitoring, servicing, troubleshooting equipment, running tests, completing reports, updating and improving existing systems, and repairing or replacing faulty equipment as directed.

 

To be successful as a RND Technician, you must be able to run with multiple duties from the day-to-day operations for the RND team and demonstrate strong self-discipline and a passion for upcoming technology. We have multiple projects going on and having someone that will roll up their sleeves and help with running our Carbon Capture unit, aid in hydrogen injection systems and perform various tests with our engineering crew will be highly desired.

 

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspecting, analyzing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
  • Running various tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations
  • Writing reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans
  • Sourcing replacement parts
  • Repairing or replacing faulty equipment
  • Fabricating any components required
  • Testing and troubleshooting data acquisition hardware and software after installation.
  • Inventory control of field equipment.
  • Must be able to work outside and be on feet
  • Work with the team on running the CCU and wear appropriate PPE gear

Qualifications

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year experience in the drilling industry.

Must be computer literate, have ability to analyze and report to management, and able to multi-task.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fluent in English. Ability to read and write, comprehend complex instructions, write short correspondence,

and memos.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and compute percentages.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, database software, and manufacturing/inventory software.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid Driver’s License, Fork Lift Training (Can be taught on sight)

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced training in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced training
