The position

By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be part of a strong professional environment and professional network with high competence in material technology, corrosion, and inspection.

  • Solving challenges in the material, corrosion and inspection field in related to the integrity of offshore process equipment and structure.

  • Provide operational support to the company’s offshore installations on the Norwegian continental shelf – as well as internationally.

  • Conduct material and corrosion assessments, including evaluation on inspection findings.

  • Establish and maintain Risk Based (RBI) Corrosion Management and Inspection Programs.

  • Follow up suppliers, including budget and cost control.

  • Contribute professional and technical support to the operation of installations on the Norwegian continental shelf and internationally.

  • Participate and contribute to internal professional networks and actively contribute to improvement work.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant experience in corrosion, structure and materials technology is preferred, but other relevant experience and education will be considered.

  • General good digital competence.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is desirable.

  • Ability to identify, manage, and control risk.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

  • Good analytical skills.

  • Curiosity, flexibility, and openness to change.

  • Flexibility to travel on sporadic offshore trips when required.

  • Proactivity when it comes to improvement and standardization.

  • Ability to communicate in both Norwegian and English languages – written and spoken.
