Overview
As an Engineering Manager in the oil & gas industry in Germany, you will play a pivotal role in driving the energy transition and sustainability efforts. You will lead a team of engineers and oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

## Responsibilities
– Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering strategies that align with the energy transition goals.
– Oversee the planning, budgeting, and scheduling of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost-efficiency.
– Drive innovation and the adoption of sustainable engineering practices to support environmental and social responsibility.

## Qualifications
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
– Proven experience in a managerial role within the oil & gas industry, with a strong understanding of energy transition initiatives and sustainability practices.
– Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
– In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
– Familiarity with the legal and environmental considerations associated with engineering projects in Germany.

## Day-to-day
– Engage in regular team meetings to provide updates, set goals, and address any challenges or concerns.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering projects with the organization’s energy transition objectives.
– Review project proposals, reports, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
– Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
– Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements, and implement relevant practices within the team.
