  • Collect required data and assist in the preparation of documents and applications to obtain required permits, including air, wetlands, NPDES, and DOT permits.  
  • Coordinate preparation and implementation of SPCC Plans. 
  • Support and develop ongoing improvements of environmental systems including database systems and processes. 
  • Highly skilled within databases with the ability to gather, verify and format data in multiple systems is preferred.  
  • Assist in safety and environmental inspections. 
  • Assist in maintaining response plans.  
  • Assist operations personnel in implementation of safety and environmental stewardship practices for the division. 
  • Assist in regulatory notifications.
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of incident summaries.
  • Assist with processing invoices and check requests.
  • Willing to travel up to 20%.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Safety, Environmental or related field with one year experience in Safety and Environmental preferred. 
  • High School diploma or GED required. 
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental laws and regulations preferred. 
  • Good organizational and record keeping skills are required. 
  • Computer literacy is required. 
  • Ability to work effectively with others at all levels.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
