Job Title – Expert Quality Assurance

Start: September 2026

Duration: Until August 2028 (extension possible)

Location: Berlin, Germany (hybrid) + occasional travel to fabrication yards across Europe and Asia

Scope:

 • Acting as the Owner’s Engineering QA representative for jacket fabrication activities

• Reviewing contractor quality documentation, QA procedures and technical queries

• Supporting and approving ITPs, audit plans and acceptance testing activities

• Providing QA oversight of welding, NDT and protective coating activities throughout fabrication

• Conducting audits, supporting NCR management and monitoring contractor QMS performance

Requirements:

 • Qualified Welding Engineer (degree or recognised certification)

• Formal NDT qualification or education

• Strong Quality Assurance experience within offshore wind, offshore structures or heavy steel fabrication

• Experience with audits, inspections, ITPs, NCR management and acceptance processes

• Knowledge of offshore industry standards including DNV, BSH and related HSE requirements

• Experience overseeing welding, NDT and protective coating activities

• Fluent English (minimum C1 level)

Working Pattern:

 • Approximately 70% remote • Approximately 20% onsite in Berlin • Approximately 10% travel to fabrication yards in Europe and Asia
