Job Summary:
The Facility Engineer is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and integrity of company facilities and infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable support for operations. The role includes planning, coordinating, and implementing maintenance programs, project works, and facility improvements in line with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and operation of facilities, including buildings, utilities, HVAC systems, power supply, and related infrastructure.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure asset reliability.
- Monitor contractors’ performance and ensure compliance with technical, safety, and quality requirements.
- Support facility upgrades, refurbishments, and small capital projects from design to completion.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Prepare technical reports, work orders, and documentation on facility condition and performance.
- Collaborate with HSE, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Manage budgets, materials, and resources for maintenance and project activities.
Job Requirement
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facility Engineering.
- 5–7 years’ experience in facility management or engineering within the oil and gas or industrial sector.
- Sound knowledge of building systems (HVAC, power, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS) and safety regulations.
Project management experience and understanding of construction standards are an advantage.
