Minimum Academics: OND/HND/BSc/B. Tech/Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering

Work Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years in Oil and gas industry , preferably in Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited or former SPDC

Skills(Added advantage)
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Sub-Surface Equipment Maintenance and Servicing
• Well intervention
• Experience in actuator valves and ESD systems operation.
• Experience in oil wellhead operations and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrate Understanding of well control, hazard identification and barriers theory for safe
• well head operations.
• Demonstration of a full knowledge of wellhead systems, maintenance & integrity management (installation, completion and testing of various components and seals)
• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
• Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
• Self-Motivated and performs under minimal supervision

Roles and Responsibilities
The field operations supervisor will be responsible for the following:
• Perform wellhead pressure tests.
• Carryout Servicing Of Xmas Trees
• Integrity Checks (First) And Repair (Second) Line Maintenance Of Wellhead
• Report and close out UA/UC
• Serves as PTW signatory
• Apply the HSSE policy, legislation applicable to crude oil transfer and export.
• Adhere to plant operational procedures.
• Monitor, control and record production rates and performance.
• Start-up wells and facilities (hot and cold start).
• Perform basic troubleshooting on wells and facilities to ensure stability.
• Perform daily first line monitoring of process parameters and variables.
• Liaise with maintenance for PM and CM execution as scheduled.
• Gather daily production data, determine the production performance.
• Execute daily communication and Shift handover.
• Ensure optimized chemical injection rates are followed as advised.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities.
• Prepare the wells and facilities/equipment for (re) commencement of production/processing.
• Perform monthly well test and sampling of producing wells.
• Perform periodically well integrity assurance tasks and activities.
• Supervise preparation of equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming, and other procedures as required.
• Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.

Work Cycle:
• The work location is a swamp-field located in Belema. However, you may be required to attend training or other official assignments in IA Port Harcout or other locations, as shall be required.
• The job activity period is daily on 12-hour (7am to7pm) routine over a 21-day period.
• Work cycle is 3-weeks on-site and 3-weeks time-off schedule, but personnel may be required to work extended hours occasionally as may be required.
• The successful candidate will manage own absences with his/her employer for suitable qualified covers.
