Finance Coordinator



  • Prepare the schedule for in-house Employees PAYE, Pension & NSITF
  • Liaise with tax consultants on all tax issues
  • Ensure response on all Tax issues from government in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper and error free administration of remittance of NSITF, PENSION, Tax and other statutory remittances
  • Processing of Tax cards and TCC for all personnel
  • Ensure proper postings with adequate description of all in-house payment or transaction vouchers
  • Ensure payslips are sent to all employees within 24hours after salaries are paid
  • Review and sign off all Bank reconciliation statements
  • Ensure all bank charges are in accordance with concessions and communicated and follow up refund of excess charges by appropriate bank
  • Prepare inhouse payroll schedule
  • Raise in house payroll journal for review and postings
  • Work with the Head of Finance to ensure all schedules are correctly prepared for P&L and Balance Sheet items for all audit exercises
  • Review and sign off all Petty Cash Reconciliation and post reconciliation entries
  • Prepare monthly schedule of balance sheet accounts Fixed Asset, Prepaid Expenses, Long term quoted investment, Employee loan and staff Advance Account, Withholding Tax

Job Requirement

  • BSc in Accounting or any other business related degrees
  • At least 5 years experience
  • Professional certification in Accounting
  • Proficiency in the use of MS-office tools i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong prioritization skills
