Job Description:

Our client, a global mining services company, is seeking a General Manager – Marketing & Communications to lead all internal and external communications to strengthen the Group’s brand and support business growth through strategic marketing, stakeholder engagement, and media relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement corporate communication and brand strategy.
  • Manage digital presence, social media, and public relations.
  • Support Business Development with marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate crisis communication and corporate announcements.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across regions and business units.
  • Oversee internal communication to enhance employee engagement.
  • Manage external agencies and communication budgets.

 

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business.
  • 10 + years in corporate communications, preferably in industrial or engineering sectors.
  • Strong strategic communication, creative problem-solving, and effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven leadership ability with the capacity to respond decisively and calmly in high-pressure or crisis situations.
