Integrated in the investment office, you will be responsible for the control and monitoring of the organic (projects) and inorganic (M&A) investments of the EP Business Unit (Exploration and Production), establishing priorities and analyzing their impact on the economic indicators -financial to guarantee the execution of the strategy, guaranteeing the correct and complete implementation of the internal investment regulations.
To do this, you will perform the following functions:
Collaborate in projects for the acquisition of new assets (M&A) in all their phases (screening, preliminary internal analysis, review of the economic model, preparation of projected financial statements …).
Carry out and coordinate the financial and fiscal Due Diligence, analyzing the structure of the operation, the financial situation, identifying the net debt and possible price adjustments, financial contingencies, etc.
Coordinate the preparation of the budget and strategic investment plan.
Coordinate the presentation of projects for approval ensuring the quality of the dossiers.
Monitor and control projects in their different phases, analyzing deviations and extracting lessons learned.
Carry out the dissemination of the procedures and methodology applicable to the control and monitoring of Group investments, as well as the adaptation, where appropriate, to the field of E&P and identification of opportunities for improvement.
What are we searching for:
Higher degree in Engineering or Business Administration / Economics. Preferably with MBA
High English level
Experience in a similar position
Necessary knowledge in valuation and analysis of organic and inorganic investments, maturation and execution of projects, as well as the exploration and production sector, including technical knowledge and impact of key parameters.
