Our Client is a busy, reputable building contractor seeking an experienced health and safety professional to oversee HSE on their construction sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring health & safety regulations are adhered to across all construction sites
- Conducting site inspections and identifying any issues or failures
- Preparing risk assessments, method statements and emergency plans
- Delivering toolbox talks and other training to workforce
- Recording and reporting incidents and non-conformities as per company procedures
- Coordinating all health & safety matters enforcing mandatory safety measures
Talent will
- Ideally be OHSA registered or eligible for registration within the first 6 months of employment
- Be familiar with local laws and site procedures
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Toolbox Talks, Risk Assessments, incident reporting etc
- Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Be a pro-active, responsible individual capable of working with multi-cultural site teams
