Job Role Summary


The Inspection Data Analyst position will be the primary point of contact for managing inspection documentation and drawings (pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, valves, etc.) as part of risk based mechanical integrity system. This is a day position, subject to future changes based on business need and located in Beaumont, TX.

Job Role Responsibilities


  • Performs review of inspection data and reports to ensure quality and compliance with company standards
  • Ensures compliance of all assets to regulatory and API inspection codes
  • Update and maintain digital equipment records related to inspection programs
  • Develop and steward mechanical integrity metrics related to inspection programs
  • Provides training and support to inspection, engineering, maintenance and operations organizations with managing mechanical integrity tasks and database work flows 
  • Assists fixed equipment engineers in maintaining equipment records
  • Provide functional guidance to inspection data entry and drafting contract resources
  • Provides support in developing annual maintenance and Turnaround work lists
  • Serve as PHA Coordinator for management of critical inspection findings

Job Requirements


  • Previous experience as inspection data coordinator or embedded plant inspector with unit responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate inspection program details to non-inspection personnel

Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities


  • API 570, 510 certifications
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME Sec I, VIII, B31.1, B31.1, API 653, 579)
  • General knowledge of risk based methodology and equipment degradations (API 580/581)
  • Familiarity with SAP or Access inspection database systems
  • Basic knowledge of metallurgy and corrosion associated with refinery/petrochemical process
  • Proficient with office based programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads and frequent changes in priorities
