Job Summary




We are seeking a skilled and highly qualified Inspector to perform quality control related activities for receiving and in-process inspection of products in accordance with quality related procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Work in receiving inspection (physical and electronic), in-process inspection and final inspection areas based on the assignments.
  • Verify received part traceability against requirements such as purchase order, goods receipt, BOM requirements, etc. Verify hardness punches on parts. Verify serial number and heat number match receiving documentation.
  • Visually inspect parts, coating and packaging for damage. Take pictures of material conditions.
  • Verify critical dimensions (as needed) according to documented instructions.
  • Able to handle heavy parts using overhead cranes and other lifting equipment safely.
  • Use measuring devices, such as inside and outside micrometers, inside and outside calipers, Vernier calipers, and depth, dial indicator, thread, snap, and telescope gauges.
  • Visually examine castings for flaws exposed by machining.
  • Verify vendor documentation against bill of material and inspection plan to ensure requirements are met.
  • Detect non-conforming materials, preparation of supporting notifications in SAP and execution of disposition as directed.
  • Prepare all required documentation. Maintain and update Quality records and databases as required.
  • Observe all safety procedures and policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed.
  • Must cooperate and work well with co-workers, as well as 3rd party and customer inspectors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of four to five years’ experience in inspection.
  • Skill in inspecting assembled products to ensure conformance to specifications; inspecting parts, materials, supplies, and equipment received from vendors for quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications; in the use of dimensional measuring devices; in reading and interpreting blueprints. 
  • Previous experience in inspection or assembly is desirable and testing to API and ANSI requirements along with computer experience is preferred. 
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
