The Offshore Supervisor leads and coordinates all Baker Hughes work at the wellsite. He/she will be Baker Hughes focal point with the customer at wellsite and will lead all elements of the operations including Baker Hughes products and services and other contracted parties. Main objectives are to drive flawless HSE performance, on-time delivery, consistency, and service delivery excellence. The position reports in a matrix manner to the IS Project or Service Delivery Manager.
As an Offshore Supervisor, you will be responsible for
Leading integrated operations on the rig in close cooperation with operators and drilling rig contractor. Leading and participating in operation reviews, safety & morning operations meetings, etc.
Supervising the operations according to the well activity program.
Taking part in and assisting preparing Pre-Spud Meetings at the wellsite for upcoming wells.
Ensuring timely communication of site reports including the Daily Drilling Reports.
Monitoring and advising with support of Onshore Service Delivery Coordinators on mobilization of materials, equipment, and services in a timely manner and initiate the removal of redundant materials and the immediate return of rental equipment when it is no longer required
Ensuring the project is safely, compliantly, and efficiently executed.
Managing the offshore personnel demand, planning, and coordination.
Utilizing Remote operations center efficiently during operations.
Ensuring learnings from previous operations are implemented offshore communicates lessons learned to the greater Alliance Teams.
Providing written detailed handover to relief covering all aspects of HSE, operations and equipment issues, with the plan forward.
Providing timely input to the Daily Drilling Report, KPI evaluation and improvement plans.
Leading offshore equipment failure investigations and reporting them accordingly.
Coordinating and coaching all personnel toward the rigs HSE activities, job execution and operational preparation.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree within relevant field. Long experience can compensate for lack of formal education
Have 8+ years of relevant experience from the oil and gas industry
Have comprehensive knowledge of well-control best practices and procedure
Ensure safety management, safety leadership and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) at the wellsite
Implement and ensure compliance of HS&E Emergency Response Systems
Have comprehensive knowledge of Field Service operations, installation, and maintenance operations
Have competency to plan, problem solve, organize, direct and control drilling operations
Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across multiple Product Lines, functions, geographies, external parties
