- Monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting of all Data within EOG
- Granting access for users and user groups for both data access and data system’s access
- Notifies management of any issues relating to data that might occur during operations
- Update and assist with maintaining any systems relating to infrastructure
- Assist divisions with configuring and maintaining their infrastructure and data systems
- Maintains contact with the vendor infrastructure companies to assure that all requirements are met and to make changes to the data where required
- Provide support including server issues, connection problems and internal issues.
- Establish documentation to a level by which processes are reproducible by others
- If certified, can perform equipment setup on rigs

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer related major or equivalent experience is highly recommended
- Minimum 3 Years’ Experience in Oil and Gas Industry
- Demonstrated technical capabilities are a must, as are people skills. This position requires an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Strong Customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be highly motivated and a self-starter with ability to recognize and solve problems
- Solid experience with Microsoft/Windows environments (e.g. Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft technologies)
- Experience troubleshooting Linux operating systems is recommended
Special Job Characteristics:
- May travel (10%) to division locations to assist as needed
- Required to carry a mobile phone and to be on-call during off-hours as necessary
- Desire and dedication to to get the job done
- Must be a team player
