Administer Database solutions for EOG Resources. Evaluate, test, and implement new features and versions of Oracle and MEMSQL Databases. Collaborate with application and business teams to align database strategy with enterprise goals and initiatives. Evaluate, test, and implement emerging data technologies to support the effort on database performance and optimization. Plan, define, develop, maintain, and manage Database operations policies, procedures, resources, and projects. Oversee data models and perform design and code reviews.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:               Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or Information Technology.
 
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:             Five (5) years of experience as Database Administrator, Systems Analyst, Oracle Developer or Developer.
 
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:        The required five (5) years of experience must have involved designing, installing, configuring, and supporting large enterprise databases utilizing Oracle and MEMSQL.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
