ConocoPhillips’ IT department in Norway has over 50 motivated and technical competent employees looking forward to getting a new colleague. We have a wide range of skills set ranging from customer facing support, delivering IT solutions to the business and operations of IT infrastructure including an inhouse data center. IT Norway is an active partner within ConocoPhillips global IT organization with main locations in Norway, USA, Canada and Australia.

About the role

The IT application analyst is responsible for providing technical support for the various application supported by the department. This includes application lifecycle management, participating in implementation projects, development of integrations, assisting and guiding users as well as resolving day-to-day issues. In IT we work using the safe agile framework methodology (SAFe).

Areas of responsibility may include:

  • Application lifecycle management
  • Integration development
  • Cloud Computing
  • Improving business processes and automation
  • Project management
  • Advice on digitalization and digital opportunities
  • Information security

What we look for:

  • MSc/BSc in Information Technology or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within IT or other relevant disciplines
  • Experience in data and application integrations using tools like Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and Google Apigee or other tools
  • Experience using cloud computing (Azure)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to provide great customer service both in Norwegian and in English are a mandatory requirement

  • Ability to meet deadlines through good time management and prioritization
  • Problem solving skills, ability to analyze root causes and suggest process/systems improvements

Work location

The work location is in our office in Tananger, outside Stavanger. We offer home office arrangement.
