What role you will play in our team
As an differentiated services IT Analyst you will be part of a team supporting the growth of the oil and gas industry within Guyana. The team is responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure equipment onshore and offshore including networking, compute, and telecommunications. Additionally this team helps to deliver local execution for global projects and also local construction and growth projects.
What you will do
- Monitor IT infrastructure and respond to any outages issues.
- Support the global support teams with installation of the patches and diagnosis of faulty hardware
- Lead vendors who are responsible for installation of some key IT systems and support of those systems
- Deploy offshore to our assets to perform all IT support needs
- Support our telecom infrastructure both onshore and offshore to include fiber optics, microwave, LTE, and VSAT systems
- Take ownership of project deliverables and work with a diverse team to execute locally
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience supporting windows OS clients and servers
- Ability to work in a fast paced corporate environment
- Desire to work in a team organization delivering value as a team and leading others to succeed
- Bachelor degree in applicable IT/Business field
- Proven and demonstrable experience working with Cisco OS networking equipment
- Experience with hardware support and installation for all IT equipment
- Project execution experience with vendor management
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Telecom transport equipment experience. Ability to support Microwave, LTE, VSAT, or long range fiber equipment
- Experience with enabling new off complex with IT solutions
